Another rainy day as we continued our trip north. 500+ miles today. We ended the night in Richmond, Va. My cousin Julie tipped me off to Bottom’s Up Pizza in downtown Richmond, it’s a local landmark where I had actually visited with her, Lowery and Uncle Fred several years ago on a solo trip. The Goat’s in the Garden pizza was excellent. We ended the night in a really nice Wal-Mart parking lot. The store manager was probably the nicest of any we have talked to on this trip. The location was very quiet and perfect for the slow night we needed.
