Warships, Hot Rolls and Creation

Passing through Mobile, AL so many times previously we have always wanted to stop at the USS Alabama, today was our day. As we got close to the big warship we noticed there was a lot more to see than just the ship. There were tanks, helicopters, planes and other ships. We knew time would not permit us to do the visit justice, so once again we postponed our visit.

However, we did see a billboard screaming, “Lambert’s Home of the Throwed Rolls”. Can it really be? Yep, there are three Lambert’s in America and one of them is in Foley, AL. We voted to go ahead and stop one more time and experience the fun of Lambert’s. Even though the food was equally as good as it was in Missouri, the employees were not. Our waitress had lots of fun, but the supporting crew did not seem to be having fun, and thus our stop was not as enjoyable as the first time. Then again, maybe it was just the freshness of our first experience that made it special.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see Audio Unplugged, a spinoff of one of my favorite bands, Audio Adrenaline.

A couple of the guys from the band decided they had too many experiences and too many stories of God’s faithfulness in their lives not to share their stories. So we went to the Creation Festival Tour and saw Jars of Clay, Thousand Foot Krutch, Audio Unplugged and B Reith.
